US-Israel Airstrikes Hit Iran’s IRALCO, Amirkabir Petrochemical Complex

(MENAFN) The US and Israel carried out strikes on Iran Aluminium Company (IRALCO) in Arak, the nation’s largest aluminum producer, as well as the Amirkabir Petrochemical Complex in Mahshahr, located in southwestern Khuzestan province, according to reports from Iranian media.

IRALCO, situated in central Iran, serves as the country’s primary hub for aluminum production.

Authorities in Khuzestan reported that the Amirkabir Petrochemical Complex was hit in an aerial attack at approximately 11:40 pm local time on Tuesday.

No casualties have been reported from the strikes, officials said.
