Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day - Saturday, October 31

TOMORROW: Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day

Saturday, October 31

10 a.m.–2 p.m.

Central Landfill, Newark

Free to Worcester County residents

County residents can drop off household chemicals, batteries, oil-based paints, automotive fluids, pesticides, pool chemicals, CFL bulbs and other household hazardous wastes at no charge. We’ll also accept laptops and computer towers for safe disposal.

Remember: Water-based paint is not accepted. Let it dry or solidify it with sand, kitty litter or mulch, then place it in your regular trash.

Take a few minutes to check the garage, shed, basement or cabinets, load up what you no longer need, and together we will dispose of it safely.

Questions? Call Worcester County Recycling Manager Bob Keenan at 410-632-3177.
